Simon Buch Petersen
Simon Buch Petersen is a Danish artist from Esbjerg. He has been actively involved in the art scene for over 15 years with exhibits and galleries in various locations around the world. Simon creates art that tells stories about his experiences in the world and about life in general. With both a playful and a serious approach to art, Simon dissembles the world around him and puts it back together for a new and distorted reality. His occasional scribbles records the modes of the seeker in the realms of the soul. Hidden in the works are philosophical thoughts and existential realisations along with reflec- tions on the quotidian. Drawing on a plethora of techniques and motifs, Buch’s experimental work comprises of diverse canvases, each draw- ing the viewer into multiple discourses. Simon is working from his new studio in South of Sweden where he is currently working on a new series of drawings, exploring new ideas. Aside from attending upcoming shows, you can also follow Simon on Facebook and Instagram.
